The Team Behind Messy Church

The
St Wilfrid's Messy Church team is a glorious mix of people of all ages and gifts.

Lesley is an officially 'outstanding' childminder. Denise is an Environmental Health officer, so we are perfectly cockroach-free.

Sarah is both treasurer and Queen of Mash. Becky, Katie, Judith, Sophie, Harry and Bex are still at school and rush in from the bus to lead crafts, show us the actions to the songs and help set out the meal.

Jackie is the inspiration behind our fantastic noticeboard displays. Doreen, Bob and Louise are retired and happily share their artistic and cake-making talents.

Rose, Teresa and Claire do miraculous feats in the kitchen. Robert is invaluable for quietly getting on with whatever needs doing. Jan listens and prays.

Joe, a financial advisor and marathon runner, is also a junk-modeller extraordinaire. Arthur indulges his passion for technology in operating the digital projector, while Paul manages to take photos and lead celebrations with equal aplomb.

Catherine and Graham bring their Scouting skills to bear on their activities.

Other people, too numerous to mention, help out on an occasional basis, whenever work permits. The M.U. makes cakes, Gwen puts notices in the church magazine, Val organizes us, Greg and Steve help put the tables up...
