We believe that God is using Messy Church to grow his church. Would you be willing to support this with your prayer and your giving? Could you, your family or your church become a Messy Champion? By doing so you would be demonstrating how important you think this work is, providing vital resources to continue making the most of the gift God has given his church in Messy Church, and giving the Messy Team a huge amount of encouragement. Is this something you could take to your church's PCC or governing body and discuss? We hope to grow a whole grandstand of champions of all ages!

Messy Church is growing! Every month families who have never set foot in a church before are enjoying Messy Church. And every month more Messy Churches are started all over the UK and worldwide. And it works! Messy Church is proving effective in sharing God's good news with families across denominations and church traditions. We estimate that some 100,000 people belong to Messy Churches - and the number is growing all the time.

What you may not know is that Messy Church is enabled, resourced and supported by BRF (the Bible Reading Fellowship), a Registered Charity. If BRF had not had the vision in 2006 to see that Messy Church might be something that could be of interest to the wider church it is likely that you would never have heard of Messy Church and that those 100,000 people, including those in your own area, would have not have encountered the love of God through their local church.

Messy Church - a core ministry of BRF

Messy Church is a core ministry of BRF, which provides the staff and infrastructure to enable it to grow and develop, including:

• events to introduce the concept of Messy Church
• ongoing training on aspects of Messy Church
• networking across the UK and internationally
• information dissemination on the website
• published resources
• advocacy and consultancy both in and outside the church
• the development of projects to benefit Messy Churches

Sustaining Messy Church is a challenge. BRF's Messy Church ministry is currently being funded by a very few generous funders who have caught the vision for reaching those outside the reach of traditional church, but we now need more churches and individuals to help fund this vital and growing ministry. Could you, your family or your church become a Messy Champion?
