I'm on the train on my way home from my Great Northern Tour. It's been a really good couple of days, meeting with two groups of regional coordinators - what wonderful warm people they are! Do get in touch with your local one - the list of who is where was on the last e-news and can also be found on the website. They all have a real desire to support what Messy Church leaders are doing locally, to provide opportunities to get together for encouragement and sharing ideas, and to find ways forward for the situations we're facing.
'I also had my brain gently pulled out through my ears, given a good spring cleaning, and politely inserted back, when George Lings, who has an avuncular role in Messy Church, having been our friend and adviser from very early days, interviewed me about Messy Church for one of his Encounters On the Edge booklets. It will feature the L19 Messy Church as a case study. There were 27 questions on his list and after an hour and a half, we were on number 2. I’ll let you know when it comes out. And when I can see straight again.'
