More mealy thoughts

Marie Beale and her team up in the Wirral have been doing Messy Church for ages now - here's an interesting development from her:

'Just to let you know our latest Messy development... after much mulling we are having a Messy Church meal for our grown-ups on Friday evening... we have sent out personally addressed paper invites (gone down very well), are planning drinks and canapes, Jamie Oliver's five-hour lamb (suitably messy), a huge dish per table with aprons and hats for the designated carver, a testimony about faith and family life from our police inspector turned curate and his lovely midwife wife, and deserts, coffee and live music from a very gifted songwriter member of the team. Will report back after the event... 40 attending so far.
