Who let the Dads Out?

12 May 2010

As you may have already heard, Messy Church has been working in collaboration with Who Let The Dads Out? to give churches and related groups the opportunity to take part in a National Father's Day Conference on 19 June in Chester celebrating 100 years of Father's Day.

I'd warmly encorage you to attend the conference yourselves or send a delegate. (I'd be there like a shot, but I'll be being messy in Canada.) The conference this year should be bigger and better than ever.

WLTDO? is a unique initiative that aims to 'turn the hearts of fathers back to their children, families and God', and so is of great importance to those involved in your Messy Church projects.

This is an amazing opportunity to link Messy Church further with other projects and to introduce the initiative to new churches. It will give fathers and male carers the opportunity to see new ways in which they can relate both to their family and the family of the church.

10am - 3.30pm at All Saints Church Centre, Vicarage Road, Hoole, Chester CH2 3HZ
