Godly Play and Messy Church: a conversation 2

Date: Tuesday, 2 September 2014 - 10:00am to 4:30pm
Venue: St Bertelins Church Hall Holmcroft Road Stafford ST16 1JB

More and more churches are enjoying both Messy Church and Godly Play, two very different approaches to worship, community-building, meaningful spiritual encounter and storytelling, both of which have a great deal to offer people of all ages in the church.

The basis of this day is a respectful meeting of friends who already appreciate both Godly Play and Messy Church. By exploring and discussing these two approaches, our common goal is to develop better understanding of our shared and different methods and aims.

Our discussions will benefit from experiencing both approaches on the day in their original forms (though, of necessity, without all ages present). The day will illuminate how Messy Church and Godly Play can best support practitioners' understanding each approach, and provide guidance to those who like to combine them.

This is a repeat of the day held on 6 June. Book by following the link at the bottom of the page. Booking will close on 16 August 2014 or sooner if full.
