Messy Science

Date: Saturday, 29 February 2020 - 9:45am to 12:00pm
Venue: St Matthew's Redhill, Surrey RH1 1DL

How might science within Messy Church express its 'DNA' of hospitality, creativity and celebration, enabling families to experience the joy of science, encounter the God of creation and counter the notion that science and faith do not mix? This workshop, aimed at those who are part of a Messy Church team, together with those who work with families in local church settings and schools, will enable participants to practically explore these issues, get hands-on with some simple science experiments and gain confidence in helping children and adults fit science and faith together in their exploration of God’s life and world. Led by Dr Dave Gregory (author of Messy Church does Science) and Martyn Payne.
