Welcome to Liz Durber, your new Regional Coordinator for Stoke in Staffordshire. We are delighted that Liz is joining the Regional Coordinator network and we encourage the Messy Churches in the Stoke region to contact Liz for prayer and support.

Liz says: 'I am Messy Church Coordinator at St Philip & St James, Milton, which I helped to set up in January 2012. I have worked with children and young people within our church for over 30 years and also plan all-age worship for the youngsters to lead. I am a member of the PCC and the Parish Development Team and also bake and serve refreshments with my friend for our quarterly memorial services.

'I am an Early Years and Speech and Language Practitioner and work in a local primary school. I am married and have two grown-up children and have recently become a grandparent. I enjoy baking, reading, going to the theatre, gardening and spending time with my granddaughter.

I am passionate about Messy Church and love interacting with the families that attend and seeing the way that both our Messy families and our volunteers have developed their faith while having fun. It's such a joyful experience and one of the best things I have done. Every church should get involved.'
