Please take for granted all the usual caveats about being wary of what we mean by a ‘family’. For the purposes of this blog, I mean a group of people of all ages living together and more or less dependent on each other and that might mean anything from a single dad and three children from different relationships to a step family, to a mum, dad and six children to a widowed grandparent bringing up a grandchild.

Hertfordshire has never had a Regional Coordinator! So we are delighted to announce that Becki Chafe, in St Albans, is taking on this supportive role for over fifty registered churches. Becki is the Children's and Families Worker at Christ Church, St Albans, and coordinates a Messy Church with a fantastic team.

Welcome to two more Hampshire Messy Regional Coordinators! Claire Johnson will support Messy Churches in the Fareham West region and Hazel Bagshaw (aka Garry) will support Messy Churches in the Fareham and Gosport region. Please pray for Claire and Garry as they embark on this Messy ministry and join Rhiannon Wilmott in Southampton sharing good practice and encouragement.

Congratulations to Mish Mash Messy Church at Christ the King, Kettering! This group has been awarded the Diocese of Peterborough Children's Work Cup 2015. Mish Mash is for families who have a child or children with special/additional needs.
